David Koretz of Bluetie has Blogged about the new Gilette Fusion razor. As I know and trust David, his recommendation of a product is superior information to any old world media source.
Which brings about a whole new way to purchase via recommendations from trusted sources, which is "Blog Shopping".

Universal Convergence 
But the problem remains…how do you find a good blog with decent recommendations for products? Especially if none of your friends are bloggers. In the end doesn\’t it come down to the same old problem…finding good sources of information?

I guess the there are many factors attributed to who you trust, but the facts are that the Blogosphere is dynamic and fast. The three pillars of Blog technology (permanent links, syndication & comments) greatly assist people in the conversation with that Blogger.
The Blogosphere is also a fantastic cross reference system too. Verify what someone says with other Bloggers and other sites.
The thing is though, people want to be sold too, but they just want the person selling too them to be someone they can trust.
