Podcasting – the voice of communities great and small
November 2, 2005
One of the great things about Podcasting is that anyone can do it. You don’t need expensive equipment and more importantly you don’t need any special skill set or trumped up University degree.
Podcasting becomes the voice of the people that are reaching out to their communities, whether it’s hundred of thousands or just a few people.
The other thing that makes podcasting unique is that you can’t fail doing it.
The New York Times has a nice piece of journalism of some podcasters, great and small, and how they are making a difference with their creative works.
Oh, and if you are looking to find out what this Podcasting is all about, then head over to The Podcast Network that is run by two friends of mine, Mick Stanic & Cameron Reilly, and sample some of the podcastinations that prevail there.
